Engagement Season!!

So we have been totally lagging when in comes to blogging, mainly because we have been shooting soo many engagement sessions and quite a few weddings as well. So rather than do an individual blog, I figured I’d post a few of my favorite engagement photos from the last couple months! We look forward to many of the upcoming weddings! Some of these couples are getting married in as little as two weeks…yeah!!

Mayela and Paul
What can I say, Mayela and Paul are such a great couple who we had blast sneaking around the library and walking around downtown LA!





Kaitlin and Brian
With Kaitlin and Brian, not only did we have the joy of photographing them, we of course had to have some fun with their great dog. Following a few shots with all them we went to the most beautiful gardens in Ojai. It was absolutely amazing setting to take engagement photos of an amazing couple!





Bre and Josh
When we photographed Bre and Josh we did something we have never done before…shot a couple paddleboarding! Of course we did that after taking shots on the boat, because of course the fell in fully clothed. I just had to share the whole series of these!





Marisa and Chris
So I little biased when it came to choosing a location for Marisa and Chris. They decided they wanted to do their images at their alumni, UCSB, which is where I graduated from over a decade ago!



Rachael and Blake
For Rachael and Blake we spent the afternoon strolling around Bacara beach, which is actually pretty private for beach in the Santa Barbara area. We took quite a stroll through both the hills and sand!




Last but not least Stephanie & Richard
For their engagement shoot we went to one of my personal favorite places, Gainey Vineyard, in the Santa Ynez Valley. Even though there were no grapes at the time, it is just absolutely beautiful there!!

Viva Las Vegas!

We had a great time when we were in Las Vegas and to make it even better Rosa and Netza joined us on our last day for their engagement session! This was one of the most challenging engagement sessions we have ever had! The wind was blowing everywhere! But it worked! We would like to thank Chelsea Nicole for helping us with a couple ideas while in Vegas! And of course to Rosa and Netza for braving the high winds!

Catching Up…1st up Sarah & Ryan

So we are little behind with our blogging. Between photography conventions, commercial shoots, and engagement sessions it’s just been one of those months. We are excited that wedding session is right around the corner and we feel this is going to be a good year! A little over a month ago we shot Sarah and Ryan’s Engagement Session in Downtown Riverside. For awhile it looked like it was going to rain, but we didn’t let that stop us and over all it ended up being a great shoot with umbrella’s and all!

When we first met with Lindsey and Ryan we knew we were going to get along great with them! It had been a few months since we had actually met up with them so this was definitely a fun day for us! Strolling along the alleyway’s, finding little hidden places for the two of them to “get close” and some fun playful shots too! Balboa Island is a great place to shoot and Lindsey and Ryan a wonderful couple to work with and spend the day with! Can’t wait for their wedding in April! It’s coming up just around the corner!

A walk along the beach…

Last week was Heather and Jerry’s engagement session. Anytime it rains in Santa Barbara the following day is always amazing! Everything seems a little greener and the sky seems a little more blue. This was the perfect setting for Heather and Jerry as we walked along Hendry’s Beach and along the bluff overlooking the coastline, this was where they met after all! This was the perfect romantic setting, it was almost as if we weren’t even there and they had all of Santa Barbara to themselves!
