Since we started a new blog mid way through 2009 we thought it would be nice to post a few of our favorite images from 2009 that didn’t make it onto this blog…so enjoy (click on image to view!)
So with the holiday season I have been totally lagging on the blogging…sorry!!! But our last wedding of 2009 was definitely one of the more interesting stories of the year. The wedding took place in Las Vegas on Monday, December 21, but here’s the catch…the bride didn’t know about the wedding until Friday, December 18th!!! Matt (the groom) contacted us about five months ago to see if we would document his special day with his plan was to purpose to Wendy on Friday and have everything ready to get married on the following Monday, which gave her only a couple days to do last minute planning! Fortunately, he was a great groom and took carry of most of the details far before the engagement. Fortunately, Wendy said “yes” on Friday night and the wedding was Monday afternoon! Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of watching Wendy pick out her dress and then Tuesday following the wedding Jim and I took them out to Red Rock to get some cool images of the two of them out in the desert! Here are some of my favorite shots from this fun and unique weekend!
Getting Ready….see even men can get facials!!

Following the ceremony Wendy & Matt lounged around the casino and then had some fun dancing
The day after the wedding we decided to go to Red Rock and get some fun shots

This past weekend we photographed Emily & Nick’s wedding at Mount Carmel Church in Santa Barbara. As many of you know here is Southern California we don’t really get much when it comes to the seasons…but we actually saw some red leaves on the trees when we were getting photos of Emily and her girls!! Following the ceremony Emily and Nick took a break with their bridal party to go have some appetizers & drinks at the The Brewhouse (the location of their first date) before heading off to the reception!

Megan and Brandon’s wedding a few weeks ago at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo was a great day. I was so in love with Megan’s Pronovias Wedding gown (my favorite wedding gown designer!). She looked absolutely radiant all day and Brandon is definitely a lucky guy!

Thanks to Nikki Keller and Scott Topper Productions for contributing to such an amazing night!
So I am running a little behind on my blog post….so in the next few days be expecting quite a few entries, but while I am at I really wanted to share Keely and Steve’s wedding photos…
Keely and Steve’s wedding was a couple of weeks ago at The Greek Orthodox Church and The Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara was perfect! They put so much thought into all the little details and everything came together just perfectly. It was definitely small and sweet…but perfect in every way!
Keely and her sister getting ready for the big day!

The look on Steve’s face as Keely walked down the aisle said it all!

And of course here are few of my personal favorites…

Keely look absolutely amazing!!

The first dance was sooo romantic…

And once again Jim pulled out his polaroid!

So last week we photographed the highly anticipated wedding of Jessica and Freddie! When Jessica contacted me last year to photograph their wedding I couldn’t wait, especially after she told me that they would be having a “Vampired” themed wedding. I was amazed at how much thought they put into the wedding, even the guest dressed up. So here are some of my favorites from their big day!
I was in love with their cake…I wish I would have thought of this for Jim & I’s wedding!
Everything down to the garter was red and black…
Freddie awaiting his bride

The Newlyweds!
I can’t believe that they were able to get all their family and friends to take part in the wedding…I actually felt a little out of place in my black attire!
My favorites!!

And of course Jim had to pull out the polaroid!
